Seminar by Mr. Paresh Bhatt

A seminar was organised by the school to motivate the students appearing for the Board exams. Mr. Paresh Bhatt, Director, The Advice & Assist was the guest speaker. Mr. Bhatt gave a commendable presentation to boost the self confidence of students. He firmly told the students that studies without a goal are like a football match without goal post. He urged students to take work from the body and focus on giving outputs. The memory techniques told by him were effective and plausible. He stressed on the need to put mobiles aside & burn the midnight oil in these 100 crucial days of their career.

Christmas Celebration

Christmas was celebrated enthusiastically in the premises of SVM School on 23rd and 24th December. The students of pre-primary sections made beautiful Christmas trees and other goodies associated with the festival. Santa Claus went to all the classrooms, danced with the students and sang Christmas carols. Students were given muffins & wafers as Christmas gift.

Ekta Motorbike Rally

To honour Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel & to celebrate Rashtriya Ekta Diwas, Gujarat Police organized an Ekta Motorbike Rally where by bikers started their rally from Kutch and culminated at Statue of Unity. SVM school got the honour of welcoming them during their visit to Bharuch. Students showered flowers on them, presented dumbbells and lezims and called out slogans. The event suffused the students with patriotic fervor.

Seminar on Career guidance by Karnavati University

To help students choose fruitful careers for a better future, a career guidance seminar was organized by the school in collaboration with Karnavati University. Two proficient faculties of the university elaborated on two different topics like 'Time Management' and 'Computational Intelligence: New age Careers'

Story telling activity

To encourage the students to speak in English, a story telling activity was organized for the students of Std Nursery, Jr.K.G & Sr. K.G whereby students were sent the PDF of the selected stories and were asked to learn any one of the given stories and present them during the online class.

Eco friendly Ganpati Idol making

To promote healthy and sustainable environment, SVM organized eco friendly Ganpati idol making activity. Students prepared idols from sand, paper mesh and decorated them with varied decorative material.

Teacher’s Day Celebration

On Teacher’s Day the students of Std VI to XII presented a wonderful programme for the teachers. Skits, songs and dances were very gracefully performed by the students. A treasure hunt game was arranged for the teachers which they enjoyed thoroughly.

Fancy dress competition

We organized a ‘Fancy dress’ competition on 21st August for the students of III, IV & V with the theme ‘National Heroes’. The excitement and spirit of the students was a scene to behold. They dressed up as national heroes right from Rani Laxmi bai, Bhagat Singh to Narendra Modi and Mary Kom.

Rakhi making activity

Under the flagship of Interact club of SVM Budding Achievers, SVM school organized a ‘Rakhi making’ competition for the students of VI to IX. The students had to make ‘Rakhis’ with seeds, cereals, grains or any other eco friendly material. They clicked picture of the ‘rakhi’ made by them and posted it in the group.

Advertisement Presentation

An ‘Advertisement Presentation’ competition was organized for the tiny tots of Std Nursery, Jr KG and Sr KG to boost their confidence and enhance their speaking skills. Students dressed up as products from TV commercials and delivered the punch line with dynamism.

Pre-Primary Section

Rainy season or Monsoon, the beautiful season of the year, is a gift of God to mankind. It revives our soul and fills the surrounding with the beauty of fresh greenery. To acknowledge this blessed gift of God the students of Pre-Primary Section participated in Monsoon celebration in the month of July. They made Monsoon Charts with different craft ideas and made umbrellas, raindrops, rinbow etc. The motive behind this competition was to give them knowledge about the nature as well as about the season.

World Yoga Day Celebration

World Yoga Day was celebrated online on 21 st June. The P.E. Instructor of the school taught various ‘asanas’ to students, who synchronized with her and performed all the exercises with vivacity. Students were also told the importance of health and how to have a healthy life style.

Ganpat University Career Counselling Webinar

Rotary Club of Bharuch, Femina in collaboration with SVM school, organized an online career counseling webinar. The webinar was conducted by Ganpat university. Dr. Mahendra Sharma, Chancellor and Director General of the university addressed the participants and gave them a purview of the courses offered by Ganpat University. It was followed by the addresses of faculty members who told about the various possibilities students have after clearing 12 th Standard. The queries of the students were addressed in the end.

Karnavati University campus tour

SVM school in association with Rotary club of Bharuch, Femina organized a virtual campus tour and career counseling session by Karnavati University via zoom. Mrs. Manisha Thakore presented the welcome address. The Associate Director Institutional Relationship, Mr. Vikram Goyal took the participants on a virtual campus tour which was fascinating to watch. The sprawling campus of Karnavati University offers a variety of courses for the aspirants to pursue. Mr. Vikrant Jain, Professor at Karnavati, explained in detail all the courses which students can opt for. The presentation was captivating & immaculate and captured the attention of the audience. In the end session was opened for Q/A. Mr. Devang Thakore presented the vote of thanks.

World Yoga Day celebration

World Yoga Day was celebrated with much and inventive enthusiasm on 21 st June2020. For the very first time SVM conducted online Yoga sessions for all the students of the school. At different time slots all the students performed various Asanas shown by the P.E teacher Mrs. Jayshree Mahiavanshi. Some parents very enthusiastically joined their children in doing yoga.

RYLA Webinar

A RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) webinar was conducted online on 30 th June for the students of SVM school. The President of the Interact club of SVM, Rohit Yadav introduced the keynote speaker to the attendees. The speaker Mr. Paresh Bhatt, Director- The Advice & Assist. Mr. Bhatt is exclusively working for the development of youth, preparing them for facing an Interview & making them fully skilled and equipped to face the competition of Next Decade. He explained in detail the qualities and attitude needed to be a good leader. His presentation comprised of A/V clips and a short motivational video. The session was highly interactive as students get their queries satisfied by Mr. Bhatt. The vote of thanks was presented by the president of Rotary club of Bharuch, Femina Mrs. Manisha Thakore.

Welcome Function

As customary SVM school hosted a welcome function for the students of Std XI, this time online. After the welcome address by the I/C Principal Mrs. Kalpana Nimbhore, the Director of SVM Mr. Devang Thakore presented the Purpose of the day. It was followed by a brain storming lecture by Mr. Jivraj Patel, Secretary SVM on ‘Learning in isolation”. After the words of blessing by Mr. Shashikant Patel, Chairman SVM, the guest speaker Mr. Paresh Bhatt presented his address on I v/s U = WE. He motivated the students to shine despite uncertainties and wavering mindset in their age. All the faculty members were introduces by the I/C Principal to the students.
